Running throughout 2024 and into February 2025, The Country Hour carved out a warm, familiar space for fans of classic country, storytelling songs and the voices that shaped the genre.
From the soulful ache of Tammy Wynette to the storytelling charm of Johnny Cash, each show delivered a lovingly curated hour of country favourites, overlooked gems and timeless songs.
Occasionally, the playlist tipped its hat to more modern voices too, just enough to keep things fresh without straying too far from its roots.
Several editions were chosen entirely by listeners, giving the show a personal, community-led feel and turning it into more than just a playlist. It became a shared celebration of country music, old and new.
