After surviving a massive crash at the Indianapolis 500 and recovering from his injuries, Formula One star Brad Foreman is sabotaged by his rival Luigi Solla in his comeback race. As a result, he is fired by the McGarren team. Undeterred, Foreman decides to go solo and constructs a Formula 5000 car in his garage.
