Hook Jaw is a colossal great white shark who serves as the protagonist of the series, despite his tendency to consume most of the human characters. The moniker ‘Hook Jaw’ stems from the gaff hook that has become lodged in the shark’s jaw, a reminder of the failed attempt by fishermen to capture the beast before falling victim to its voracious appetite.
