In 1985, after Tiger closed, Hot Shot Hamish transferred to Roy of the Rovers and joined forces with the Rovers’ stalwart, Kevin Mouse. The strip was known as Hot Shot Hamish and Mighty Mouse, then shortened to Hot Shot Hamish and Mouse, and finally Hamish and Mouse. The series ran from 1985 to 1990, with a brief hiatus before returning in 1992. The final new stories were published in January 1992, with reprints being issued until Roy of the Rovers was cancelled.
