Following a successful debut in the UK market the previous year, Figurine Panini returned with a new sticker collection, Football 79, with the goal of strengthening its position as the leading brand in the industry. The album’s cover, featuring a captivating moment from the 1978 European Cup Final between Liverpool and Club Brugge, was adorned in royal blue. To attract young children, the designers carefully selected stickers to include in the collection. It is worth mentioning that Hibernian became the first team in a Panini sticker album to show shirt sponsorship in their deal with Bukta.
