Dan Wayne, a former First Division footballer with aspirations of becoming a top manager, saw his playing contract at Fourth Division Cranley City come to an end. In search of a new opportunity, he applied to become player-manager at the struggling Western League team, Durrells Palace. Ran from 25th April 1981 to 10th August 1985
